For the Fall, under the guidance of State and County officials, and placing health and safety first, NCC will provide the majority of courses that can be instructed remotely or online in the following format. Courses that have critical components and require face-to-face instruction, including classes with lab components that cannot easily be replicated remotely, will be instructed on-campus in a face-to-face format following appropriate health and safety guidelines and procedures to maintain the safety of the NCC community.

Laura Curran, Nassau County Executive, “Professor for a Day” at Nassau Community College

Garden City, NY – On Tuesday, October 29, Laura Curran, Nassau County Executive, will be “Professor for a Day” at Nassau Community College. Curran will speak about “An Insider’s Look at Nassau Politics” at 11:30 a.m. in Room 218 of Building B.

The “Professor for a Day series at Nassau Community College was instituted in 1980 by Professor Jack K. Mandel of the Marketing Department. The program is an opportunity for prominent business leaders to share their experience and expertise with NCC students.
