For the Fall, under the guidance of State and County officials, and placing health and safety first, NCC will provide the majority of courses that can be instructed remotely or online in the following format. Courses that have critical components and require face-to-face instruction, including classes with lab components that cannot easily be replicated remotely, will be instructed on-campus in a face-to-face format following appropriate health and safety guidelines and procedures to maintain the safety of the NCC community.

Local Resident Named to Who’s Who at Nassau Community College  felicia owalabi

Garden City, NY — On Tuesday, April 23rd, Felicia Owalabi, a resident of Arverne and a student at Nassau Community College, received the Who’s Who Among Students Award and the NCC Student Activities Award, presented by the Student Activities Staff.

The Who’s Who Award is given to full time students who have made an outstanding contribution to student life at Nassau Community College through extracurricular activities or athletic programs. The Student Activities Award recognizes students who have made important contributions to student activities or athletic programs at NCC through active participation and dedication.

Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and have completed at least 45 credits.
