WELCOME! Your decision to attend Nassau Community College marks the beginning of what will be an extremely rewarding experience. While this is an exciting time for you, the transition to college can also be challenging. And with this in mind, we've prepared an informative and enjoyable New Student Orientation Program, making your transition to NCC a cinch.
ORIENTATION Quick FAQ
When will Orientation take place?
New Student Orientation is scheduled for Monday, August 26; Tuesday,August 27; Wednesday, August 28; and Thursday, August 29, 2013. You will be invited to orientation on ONE of these dates.
Can I bring guests, parents or children? No. Guests, parents and children are not allowed to stay with you throughout the program. Orientation is a wonderful opportunity for students to meet and mingle with fellow peers. Parents and family members will be invited to a special Parent Orientation session later in the summer. How long does the Orientation program run? Plan to block out about 3 hours of your time for the full Orientation experience. How do I get to the NCC Campus? You can access directions to the campus here. The directions and maps on the web site provide links to the Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North Railroad, NYC Transit, and NICE Bus.
