Federal Work-study Information
The Federal Work-study program is a federally funded need-based financial aid employment program. To be eligible a student must be matriculated and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits. Eligibility is based on need as determined by the FAFSA and the availability of funds. Recipients of this program must be making satisfactory academic progress.
A FWS award does not guarantee a job on campus. There are 3 steps that must be taken in order to receive the benefit of the Federal Work-study program.
Step 1. Finding a position on campus
Step 2. What to do after you have been offered a position in a department
Step 3. Getting paid
If Federal Work-study is not part of your aid package and you are interested in the program, email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquiry if you are eligible to participate.
