Nassau Community College Inducts 62 Charter Members Into Its Athletic Hall of Fame

WHY:The first class of inductees into NCC’s Athletic Hall of Fame—which spans a period of 50 years and honors former Nassau students—includes:

•professional golfer Arjun Atwal, who recently won the PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C.

•former Olympic and World Cup soccer coach Bruce Arena

•former NFL star and Fox Sports analyst Brian Baldinger

•former NFL defensive back and Pro Bowler Lance Schulters

•major league lacrosse defensive star Nick Polanco

and many other All-American and national champions.
