WHAT: A presentation by Human Rights Advocate Barrie Gewanter of the Central New York Chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) on “The Legacy of Heroism: One Family's Journey Through the Holocaust and Beyond"

WHY: The Jewish Studies Program at Nassau Community College organizes events for the college community and the public about topics relevant to the Jewish experience.
