The Nassau Community College Center for Catholic Studies Presents "Christianity and Modernity Meet:  Pascal’s 'Pensees'"

Garden City, NY The Nassau Community College Center for Catholic Studies proudly presents a lecture by Dr. Peter Kreeft on the topic of Christianity and Modernity Meet: Pascal's Pensees. The lecture will be given at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 in the College Center Building (CCB).

Dr. Peter Kreeft, an internationally known and prolific Catholic author, is a professor of philosophy at Boston College. He believes that the French mathematician, physicist and religious philosopher Blaise Pascal was the first post-medieval Christian apologist. Addressed to the modern skeptic and non-believer, Pascal's Pensees provides, for Kreeft, a compelling defense of the Christian religion.

Christianity and Modernity Meet: Pascal's Pensees  is free and open to the public. However, registration and a one-day parking permit are required.
