The Nassau Community College Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery Hosts Student Art Competition & Exhibition

April 27 – June 25

Garden City, NY — The Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery at Nassau Community College (NCC) is running its annual competition and exhibition of works by students from the NCC Art Department. The exhibition runs from April 27 through June 25.

The juried competition includes painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphic designs, and mixed media work. The pieces were chosen by the NCC Firehouse Art Gallery Committee, which consists of Art Department professors. The awards ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. on May 5.

The art student exhibition can be seen at the Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery, located in Room 140 of the College Center Building (CCB) on the NCC campus. The gallery is open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. All exhibitions are free and open to the public.
