Classics for Kids at Nassau Community College Mallory Lewis and Lamb Chop

December 2

Garden City, NY – Mallory Lewis and Lamb Chop will appear at Nassau Community College on Sunday, December 2 at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the College Center Building. This "Classics for Kids" program costs $1.50.

Mallory Lewis is the daughter of Shari Lewis, the woman who brought Lamb Chop and her friends Hush Puppy and Charlie Horse to millions of children for decades. Shari Lewis had her own television show and performed on many other commercial and public television programs. After graduating from college, Mallory Lewis produced her mother's show. She has also worked as a producer and writer, focusing primarily on the young adult and children's market. In addition, Lewis has had 20 novels published, a number of which have been optioned for television. After Shari Lewis died in 1998, Lamb Chop was set aside indefinitely. In 1999, Mallory Lewis resurrected her. Mallory says she feels connected to her mother whenever she works with Lamb Chop.

Mallory Lewis and Lamb Chop features comedy, songs and interactive entertainment that will get children singing along and parents laughing as they have with Lamb Chop for so many years. For more information about this event, call 516.572.7153.
