Garden City, NY – Nassau Community College is pleased to be the host of the 2008 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) men’s lacrosse national championships.  The games, which will take place at the Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale, will include Onandaga Community College (District 1 Champions), Nassau Community College (District 2 Champions), Community College of Baltimore County–Essex (District 3 Champions) and Herkimer Community College (At-large representative).  Those interested in attending can purchase a $10.00 weekend pass or a $6.00 one-day pass at Mitchel Athletic Complex on game days.  Nassau Community College students with current I.D. will be admitted for free.  The games are scheduled as follows:

Saturday, May 10th – Semifinals

Game 1 (12:00 p.m.) – Onondaga Community College (16-1) vs. Nassau Community College (10-3)

Game 2 (3:00 p.m.) - Herkimer Community College (15-2) vs. Community College of Baltimore County–Essex (9-6)

Sunday, May 11th – Championship

Game 3 (1:00 p.m.) – Winner of game 1 vs. Winner of game 2
