Garden City, NY – The Firehouse Art Gallery at Nassau Community College (NCC) is running its annual exhibition of works by students in the NCC Art Department. The exhibition runs from April 24 through May 31.

The juried competition includes painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphic designs, and mixed media work. The pieces were chosen by the NCC Firehouse Art Gallery Committee, which consists of Art Department professors. The awards ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3.

Firehouse Art Gallery hours are 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, and 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.  All exhibitions are free and open to the public.
