While you are pursuing this Financial Markets Certificate at NCC, you will learn:
• Fundamental investment principles
• How to construct a diversified portfolio
• The role of money and credit
• Principles of global financial markets and trade
• The workings of foreign exchange rates
• The core principles of financial planning
• The meaning and interpretation of economic and financial reports, including GDC, CPI and corporate annual reports
• To use supportive computer software
The Financial Markets Certificate is designed to provide graduates with the financial education and skills needed for employment in a wide range of finance related fields, including:
• Financial services and planning
• Investment banking and trading
• Domestic and/or international banking
• Portfolio management
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
This certificate is structured as a part-time program and could be taken while pursing an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.This 24-credit program* is further designed to accommodate working students by offering several courses online and on weekends.
